Game Explainations

The Game Choices;

  • The original 'Energise' game - a team game, where the aim is to score as many points as possible for yourself and your team by shooting both the opposite team and their Alien Base!
  • 'Supercharge' - the same aim as 'Energise' but with a higher difficulty! To be able to shoot the opposite teams Alien Base, you must first gain 'Supercharge' (a rapid fire) by getting 5 'Good Shots' in a row without getting hit yourself.
  • 'Stun' - A good safety game, very good for younger players. This game is almost the same as 'Energise', the only difference is, you never lose any lives! This means no visits to the energiser throughout the game.
  • 'Eliminator' - this is where you are given a certain amount of lives and once you run out, that's it! You're out! A great game for experienced, hardcore Quasar fans!

You can also spice up your game choice with some optional extras;

  • 'Spies' - This is great for larger team games! When your gun makes a strange noise and 4 'U's appear on the back of your gun... you're a spy! This means that you can up your personal score by shooting members of your own team. Being a spy is only temporary and the spy will move from person to person, so be careful who you trust!
  • 'Bombs' - You can be equipped with up to twenty bombs per person in a game, a bomb will shoot everyone within a 5 metre radius of yourself. To activate a bomb simply pull and hold the trigger of your gun down for three seconds. Be careful though, when we say it shoots everyone... we mean everyone, including your own team!
  • 'No Defense Shields' - As everyone familiar to the game will know. When you get shot your gun will vibrate and for the following 3 seconds your defense shields activate (Your gun will say "Defense shields, Active, Active"). This means you cannot shoot and cannot be shot. With 'No Defense Shields' this does not happen. Once you get shot, your pack vibrates and for 3 seconds you cannot shoot but you CAN be shot. (Your gun will just say "Warning, Warning, Warning")
  • 'No Warning' - This is almost the same as 'No Defense Shields'. When Warnings are removed, Once shot only 'Defense Shields' activate and for 3 seconds you cannot shoot and cannot be shot before returning to normal.
  • 'No Lethal Generators' - Once the Alien Base has been shot, the 'Lethal Generators' will activate which means it will start shooting back. It will also continue to shoot ANY players that walk past it for a further 30 seconds. You can choose to have this option switched off.
